Technical visit:

Authorized Enel personnel carry out an inspection of your meter and electrical connection at your property to determine their condition. The components of the INTERNAL electrical installation are your property and, like any household appliance, have a useful life. Enel seeks to ensure they are in good condition to guarantee accurate billing of your consumption.

Meter Evaluation:

If during the technical visit it is determined that your meter shows faults, deterioration, or alterations affecting its proper operation, it will be sent by Enel to a certified company for evaluation. Remember that you have the option to be present during this evaluation by requesting an appointment through the 5140000 service line or through the company’s customer service channels.

Informative Communication:

You will receive an explanatory notice detailing what was found during the technical visit, the result of the meter evaluation (if applicable), and the charges generated in accordance with the Electricity Public Service Contract, regarding the replacement of new elements and/or activities carried out at the customer’s expense (meter, security elements, inspection, etc.). At ENEL, we work to ensure the reliability of the electricity service at your property, complying with current technical and regulatory standards.

Billing:

The charges generated for the activities performed in verifying your meter and connection will be reflected on your bill. Keep in mind that you may always contact our customer service channels and that financing alternatives are available if needed.

Technical Visit:

If it is determined on-site that your meter must be removed due to malfunction or deterioration, it will be sent to the laboratory to evaluate its proper functioning. If you wish to attend the meter evaluation, you must request an appointment through the company’s 5140000 service line.

Result of the Technical Visit:

If, as a result of the technical visit and/or the evaluation of the meter by the certified company, consumption measurement failures are identified, the provisions of the Electricity Public Service Contract will apply. The calculation of energy consumed but not recorded—and therefore not billed—will be estimated.
