Today, Tuesday, July 11, 2017, a meeting was held between CODENSA and the Local Administration of Sopó, in order to carry on with the meetings between the two parties to reach an agreement regarding the payment of City Hall’s debt to the Company since March 2015, concerning the electricity supplied for the municipality’s public lighting.
During the meeting, CODENSA answered the questions submitted by City Hall in the last few days regarding topics such as inventories and the amount due by the municipal administration on account of the electricity supplied.
As a result of the meeting, the Municipal City Hall requested two weeks to carry out the respective review of the payment proposal submitted by the Company. In turn, CODENSA will provide several documents required by the municipality this week on Friday, July 14, 2017. Finally, on Monday, July 24, 2017, there will be another meeting between the parties to hear the decision of City Hall.
The Company welcomes this new meeting and hopes an agreement can finally be reached for the payment of the Municipality's debt to the Company since 2015, for the benefit of the parties and, particularly, the citizens of Sopó.
