Economist from the Universidad de los Andes, with an MBA from Columbia Business School. She has served as President of the Private Council for Competitiveness since August 2021, a nonprofit organization that promotes the country’s competitiveness agenda, where she leads the coordination of strategies and engagement with the public and private sectors and academia. She served as Co-Director of the Central Bank of Colombia from 2013 to 2021, where she participated in shaping the country’s monetary, exchange rate, and financial policies. She currently serves on the boards of directors of organizations with a presence in Latin America.
