Mr. Riga holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy, and has more than two decades of experience in the energy sector, combined with an outstanding international career within the Enel Group. Throughout his professional journey, he has led energy businesses and operations across Europe and Latin America, assuming positions of increasing responsibility in Italy, Spain, Colombia, Central America, Brazil, and Mexico. Among his most relevant roles are Head of Generation and Renewable Energy in Colombia, Chief Executive Officer of Emgesa S.A. E.S.P., Country Manager for Central America, and General Manager of Enel Green Power Brazil, where he led the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects with more than 2,000 MW of installed capacity. He currently serves as General Manager of Enel Colombia and Central America, leading the company’s strategy, operations, and sustainable growth agenda across the region.
