Whenever you need to request the installation of meters and metering groups, follow these steps:
In Bogota:

To request installation of meters and metering groups, you may schedule an appointment (date and time) through the Customer Service Line at 5801000, option 2.
For Projects in Bogota and Sabana:
Submit, together with the work completion approval file, the Meter Charge Authorization Form signed by the project owner. Download the document at the end of this article.
- Once your project has been reviewed and approved, we will automatically generate the meter installation order.
- A crew will install the meters and deliver the commercial offer on site.
- You may then complete payment for the meters after installation.
Meters will be installed within five (5) business days after the following requirements are met:
- The project has technical-documentary approval.
- Customer-supplied meters are available at CAM.
- Meters purchased from Enel Colombia have been paid for.
Metering groups will be installed once the following requirements are met:
- The project has technical-documentary approval.
- The customer-supplied metering group is available at CAM.
- The metering group purchased from Enel Colombia has been paid for.
- The project has been energized by Enel Colombia.
Purchase of Meters and Metering Groups from Enel Colombia
Meters and metering groups sold by Enel Colombia are duly certified, calibrated, and come with a three-year warranty. They are supplied ready for installation at competitive market prices. Leave the supply and installation of your project’s energy metering in the hands of Enel Colombia and focus on your construction.
Purchase of meters and metering groups from third parties
Meters must comply with regulatory requirements. Follow these steps:
- Purchase the meters.
- Request preparation of the sealing and installation fee assessment (Enel Colombia must have already granted technical-documentary approval of the associated project).
- Pick up the fee assessment at the following service centers: Suba, Calle 80, San Diego, Venecia, Zipaquirá, Madrid, Chía, Kennedy, Restrepo, Galerías; and at the CADE offices: Cade Plaza de las Américas, Supercade Américas, Supercade Catastro, Cade Santa Lucía, Cade Chico.
- Pay the corresponding assessed amount.
- Deliver the meters to CAM (Carrera 65B No. 13-78 Bogota – Tel: 310 798 5768) for inspection and preparation. CAM will provide you with a service order number.
Metering Groups Must Comply with Applicable Standards and Certifications:
- Purchase the metering group from the supplier of your choice.
- Request preparation of the review and installation fee assessment.
- Pick up your fee assessment at the service centers listed above and at the CADE offices: Cade Plaza de las Américas, Supercade Américas, Supercade Catastro, Cade Santa Lucía, Cade Hábitat, Cade Chico.
- Deliver the metering group to CAM for parameterization and/or calibration.
- The corresponding fee will be charged to your account after installation of the equipment.
In other municipalities of cundinamarca:
- A sales rep will contact you once your project has technical-documentary approval and Enel Colombia has scheduled service energization.
- Or you may visit in person to schedule the installation. Check here for the nearest office.
