Consists of the joint review of the commercial and technical documentation required to carry out your 

simple electrical connections.

1. Application Filing

You will begin the process by submitting the technical, documentary, and commercial requirements needed to supply electricity to your project:

• Review all required documents here
• Please note that effective April 1, 2025, you must include the updated Design Compliance Declaration and Construction Compliance Declaration forms with your request.
• If you plan to supply your own meters, click here.
• To submit your project, gather the documents listed above along with Form E1 and attach them through our online filing portal by clicking here.

2. Verification of Documents and Requirements

Our engineering and commercial teams review the submitted documents describing how the new connection to the distribution grid will be carried out, validating property ownership consistency and technical feasibility in your area.

• The official response will be sent to the email address registered in your application and can also be tracked in My Enel.

Technical Site Inspection

We certify that the electrical installation has been built in accordance with the approved technical documents, simple connection specifications, and applicable RETIE electrical safety standards.

Average duration: 5 business days after document review approval.

3. Final Verification

Our specialized technical staff will conduct an inspection to verify that your project was constructed according to the approved design and regulatory standards.

• If you have reliable internet coverage at the site, the inspection may be conducted virtually; otherwise, our specialist crew will visit your property in person.
• The inspection result will be sent to your registered email address and can also be checked in My Enel.

Energization and Meter Installation

The final step of your project, where we supply electric power and install the meters according to your connection request once the technical inspection is approved.

4. Power Supply and Metering Installation

We coordinate the field operation to connect your electrical service and install the metering equipment so you can start enjoying your project.

• We will contact you in advance to confirm the scheduled connection date.
• Provided there are no changes to the technical conditions verified during the site inspection, we will complete the connection and meter installation.

5. First Bill

We reached the goal! Once your connection is active and the meters are installed, your electricity service will be ready and you will receive your first energy bill.
