Front Page
Your Enel Bill’s Front Page
On the front page, you’ll find your customer information, payment methods, contact channels, recommendations for efficient energy use, and informational notices related to meter reading and consumption.
Understand everything included on the front page of your Enel bill
This is the number that identifies you as a service user. You can use it to complete transactions, make inquiries, and submit requests related to your electricity account.
This includes details related to your electricity account, such as the service classification (residential, commercial, or industrial) and your meter number.
This corresponds to the account holder’s name and the service address shown on your bill.
Your bill will always indicate whether we were able to access your meter reading. Learn here what to do if we are unable to access your meter. Additionally, you will see a green, yellow, or red indicator showing whether your energy consumption is within your usual range or reflects a different usage pattern.
This is the final date by which you can pay the total amount of your bill without penalties.
This is the date on which service suspension may occur if the bill is not paid.
This is the next scheduled date on which we will visit your property to take your meter reading. If your meter is located inside your property, it is important to allow access to our meter reader. If you are unavailable, you may submit your meter reading through our service channels so that your bill reflects your actual consumption rather than the estimated average defined by law.
The billed period refers to the consumption dates to which the electricity tariff is applied.
Billed days represent the difference between the current meter reading date and the previous reading date, allowing us to calculate the number of consumption days included in this bill. Please note that due to holidays, billing periods may vary between 27 and 33 days (totaling 365 days at the end of the year). This may cause variations in your bill amount from one period to another, so it’s important to review the billed days when analyzing your consumption.

Your Enel Bill’s Back Page
On the back of your bill, you will find the details of your energy consumption, the total amount due, and a breakdown of charges for products and services. You will also see the billing boxes, information about service quality, and other important details you should know.
Understand Everything Included on the Back of Your Enel Bill
The total amount of the bill corresponds to all charges associated with your account. In addition to the electricity charge, it may include others such as Waste Collection, Crédito Fácil CODENSA, and value-added products and services such as assistance plans and publications, among others.
For each service and/or product charged on your bill, you will find a color-coded icon to easily identify what you are paying for:
- Green: Energy consumption and other energy-related charges.
- Pink: Other charges for products and services applicable to your account, such as Crédito Fácil CODENSA credit card, assistance services, publications, etc.
- Blue: Waste collection service charges.
You can review your energy consumption behavior for the current month and the last six billed periods.
- Active Energy: Energy consumed for lighting and operating household electrical appliances.
- Reactive Energy: Energy absorbed from the grid by certain electrical equipment. This must be controlled, as it will be billed if it exceeds 50% of active energy consumption.
Here you will find the number of kWh consumed during the billing period. This is calculated by subtracting the previous meter reading (kWh) from the current meter reading (kWh).
You will also see the total billed amount, calculated by multiplying the number of kWh consumed by the unit price per kWh.
This is the total energy consumed between the dates of the current billing period.
This is the reference you can use to compare whether your current consumption is higher, lower, or similar to your previous usage. It corresponds to the average consumption over the last six billing periods.
This is the price charged per kilowatt-hour of consumption. The value depends on the monthly result of the current tariff formula defined by the Energy and Gas Regulatory Commission (CREG), which is why it may vary from one billing period to another.
This shows your daily consumption in kilowatt-hours and the daily cost, helping you monitor your usage and continue saving energy.
These are the costs that make up the total electricity price: Generation, Transmission, Distribution, Commercialization, Losses, and Restrictions.
For each charge applied to your bill, you will find a color-coded box detailing the charges:
- Energy consumption and related charges (green)
- Other products and services charges (pink)
Here you will find the reconnection fee, if your service was previously suspended.
If applicable, you will find a blue box containing detailed information about the waste collection service, including the amount due.
